BIGKEYS LX 5-YEAR WARRANTY ANNOUNCED AT ATIA
GREYSTONE DIGITAL'S BIGKEYS LX KEYBOARDS ARE BACKED BY A NEW 5-YEAR WARRANTY.
CHARLOTTE--January 25, 2007--Greystone Digital Inc. announced today that their BigKeys LX computer keyboards will be covered by a 5 year "repair or replace" warranty. The new, longer warranty period will include keyboards purchased in the U.S., starting in January 2007. Previously, the BigKeys LX keyboards were covered by a one year warranty.
Typically, keyboard warranties last only 180 days, with some as long as 1 year. Greystone Digital says that they'll match their BigKeys against any keyboard on the market for durability and reliability.
"We think the new, long warranty expresses the confidence we have in the quality of our keyboards," said Jon Wagstrom, president of Greystone Digital. "Excellent customer service is always our goal, and we believe the 5-Year Warranty contributes greatly to that goal."
Greystone's new warranty announcement came at the ATIA 2007 conference, held in Orlando, Florida. The ATIA (Assistive Technology Industry Association) conference showcases products and services offered by the Assistive Technology industry.
BigKeys keyboards are standard size computer keyboards with extra large keys. The keyboards are in use all over the world by people who find they need the added key size and key label size, enabling them to access today's world of computers and the internet.
"A lot of people rely on BigKeys keyboards," said Wagstrom. "We understand the need for sturdiness and ultra-reliability in Assistive Technology [AT] products like ours. Some of these items are absolutely crucial to the folks who depend on them, and AT products need to stand up to quite a thumping. Once, a repeat BigKeys customer actually managed to run over a BigKeys LX with her car! Although it was damaged, it still worked."
Wagstrom recalled that, "Our customer service department recently assisted an educator with a BigKeys made in 1995. We like to ask customers when they bought their BigKeys - we get a lot of satisfaction knowing that our customers get years and years of service from our products."
All Greystone Digital BigKeys keyboards are compatible with all major software packages. No special software is required: the keyboard is just plugged into the computer in place of the regular keyboard.
The new 5-year warranty on BigKeys LX keyboards applies only to keyboards sold in the U.S.
